I am currently using my sister's macbook because my laptop died a few days ago. All I've got to say about that is......"MY FILES!!!!! ARGH!!!!" So moral of story: Back up u're important files. Luckily it has a three year warranty and 09 is the third year so i'm safe for now.
It's been some time since my last post.......no not the "Blah" post where people thought i should seek some psychiatric aid.........i think it was a post about clocks. Anyways, it's also been yoinks since i touched my clarinet as well. It has also been forever since i last cleaned my room. However, i still think its suffering from post assessment order because i can't be bothered to clean my shelves or desk. LOL And i need to improve my breathing. I can't breathe.................................
........................................
.......ie hold my breath for long when playing the clarinet.
Bankstown local court is one interesting place. I don't agree with Cathy on how boring it can be (with her reading textbooks when the court is proceeding) but i do agree with how hectic it can become with people regularly coming and going. The case i heard today was one to do with a breach of an AVO. Apparently, the complainant said she made the complaint on the day when the AVO was breached and she sounded very certain about it. However, according to the police statements she made the complaints two days later. The defence lawyer spent about an hour (and maybe a half as well) trying to discredit the complainant and ascertain the correct date the police statement was made.(I think the d. lawyer was doing that because the legislation states that in order for the AVO to have effect when breached one must report to the police "immediately" after the incident. - something along the lines of that anyways) The complainant seemed very frustrated from the cross examination because the defence lawyer wouldn't stop repeating the statement - "I put to you that you made the statement on the Sunday" (as oppose to the Friday said by the complainant) - right after the complainant said "I disagree" to the same statement. Half way through the cross examination, the magistrate ordered to hear another case that was waiting. Coincidentally the defence lawyer wanted to go outside to speak to her client as well. So yes, the next case was about some guy who had 15 incidents of being caught driving over the speed limit, some other habitual driving problem and driving when licence is disqualified. Apparently, he has had a concussion in the head and the d. lawyer also tried to bring to attention that the car was shared among many family members (something that wasn't considered when the case was passed to the magistrate). Unfortunately it got adjourned to October. *sigh* the delays of the legal system *shakes head*
Anyways, on the brighter side we're celebrating Falun Dafa day on the upcoming Saturday, the 16th. So come and join us in the city, Chinatown at around 11am or our street parade at around 1pm at Town Hall.
*Reminiscing*.......in the past i disliked mac, now i detest it! LOL Nah... I'm just not use to it. It appears really mind boggling to use when the navigational tools are everywhere.
